The obvious difference between the two is that the emblem on the bottom left of the note, marking the dollar sign. Also on the top left, the latter is missing.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Tricky bit of the MALAYSIAN notes are that they don't exactly state the dates of printers. So you practically identify them by the signature and the apparent designs, now real collectors would know the difference. Now as you see the second notes; or the second series are printed in 1982, the designs are similar, but the apparent difference in year is the RED numerals they decided to paste over the left side. The latter one is actually printed in 1986.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Now I am not a collector; I am merely an enthusiast of design. Currency money are a masterpiece individually. I would love the chance to design MY own note. So if you can correct my errors and add a fact or two; be my guest.
